The exhibition gives form to the influence of the inspirational Brno-based artist Dalibor Chatrný (1925 – 2012) through contact with people he was close to his whole life, as well as through the artist/curators’ own work. The significance of Dalibor Chatrný lies not only in the originality and authenticity of his work, but also in his deep and enduring influence on several generations of artists and other personalities that knew him. The intention is to understand his work in a broader context as a creator of situations, open interactions in the context of art, art education and everyday life.
