The last exhibition of New Tendencies (t5) continuing the thematic framework of its predecessor while at the same time including some conceptual artworks. As for its subtitle Match of Ideas - The Rational and the Irrational in Visual Research, it certainly gave preference to the second, irrational pole. The exhibition included artists such as On Kawara, Sol LeWitt, or Daniel Buren. Its introduction of conceptualism marked a break with the former programme of NT.
