28. únor do 2. červen 2019, Start and end dates

More than a hundred works by five members of the Hungarian group of neo-avant-garde group Pécsi Műhely (Károly Halász, Ferenc Ficzek, Károly Kismányoky, Sándor Pinczehelyi and Kálmán Szijártó) present the exhibition at the Olomouc Museum of Art. Visitors can look forward to photographic documentation of group events that include both personal performances as well as group projects and happenings. The period atmosphere is completed by Karol Halász's objects, as well as by events recorded on videotapes.

A cross-section of a group of neo-avant-garde artists who have been working on a revision of Hungarian constructivist and avant-garde traditions since the late 1960s. Using the techniques and practices of performing arts and using photography and dynamic images, they attempted to create a new communication and visual language closely linked to the contemporary atmosphere of Communist Hungary in the 70s and 80s of the last century.
