GrafiTri - XXV. Miskolc Graphics Triennial

The exhibition in 2011 entitled "GrafiTri - Mimetic Structures" endeavoured to redefined the term of duplication/copying/multiplying in the 21st century, and review them in relation to visual art in Hungary. The exhibition was all questions and issues. What is the role and significance of multiplying and duplication in contemporary art in Hungary? What inspirations do traditional techniques have to offer in the field of intermedial tools for multiplying? How pure technology is present beside multiplication, how multiplying is to be caught 'red handed' in visual arts? The intention of the organizers was not to provide a complete review on the topic. Our intention was to offer a new point of view, maybe in a wider horizon.
