The cycle of large-size paintings reveals the artist’s principle of work with signalling smoke as a new visual form. By capturing its specific appearance she makes time itself present. By the projection of collocations onto its surface she simultaneously points out the connection between the past and the present and its indisputable influence upon the future. Thus she appeals to the necessity of mankind’s active and committed approach to the contemporary period.
